Each Pawfit tracker comes with a 30-day money back guarantee meaning you have 30 days to try it out and if you don’t love it, you can return it for a full refund. All subscriptions have a 14-day refund period.

What kind of pets can use Pawfit?

How does a pet tracker work?

Pet trackers work by connecting to three or more satellites to calculate your pet’s location. The tracker will then send the location via the mobile network to an app on your phone and display your pet’s location on a map.

Where can I use Pawfit?

Our Pawfit trackers work so long as there is mobile phone signal in the area. All Pawfit trackers use GPS to track locations and send location updates to the Pawfit App via the mobile phone network.

Pawfit 2 uses the 2g mobile network and works across Europe and parts of North America.

PPawfit 3 uses a branch of the 4g network and works across the globe.

What is Pawfit’s tracking range?

Pawfit 3 exclusively uses the 4g mobile network to receive and send GPS location and activity updates. Please ensure you have adequate network coverage in your area before purchasing to ensure optimal performance. Your mobile device will also require an adequate network connection to communicate with the tracker.

Is Pawfit accurate? How accurate is Pawfit?

When a strong network signal is present, such as in an outdoor setting with your pet, Pawfit 3’s location accuracy is generally less than 9.7m. When the network signal is poor, such as an indoor, underground, or dense forest/wood setting, Pawfit 3 uses A-GPS to estimate the tracker’s location and the accuracy of that can range from a few feet to several miles.

Why do Pawfit trackers need a subscription?

As each Pawfit tracker has an embedded sim card inside, a subscription is required for your Pawfit tracker to be able to send GPS location updates via the mobile network. Your subscription will also give you access to Pawfit’s other great features like activity monitoring, virtual fences, Pawfit Voices and more!

Is Pawfit waterproof?

Pawfit 2 has a waterproof rating of IP68 and can be submerged in water up to 3m deep and for up to 30 minutes.

Will Pawfit fit onto my pet’s collar or harness?

We’ve designed Pawfit’s attachment base to fit on to most standard collars and harness straps measuring up to 32mm or 1.2”.

How do I attach a Pawfit tracker to my pet’s collar or harness?

Each tracker comes with an attachment base which comes in two parts. To attach to a collar/harness, place the collar/harness strap on top of the rubber base and then put the tracker attachment on top and hook it into the rubber base. The tracker then attaches to this base and can be easily removed to charge.

What is Pawfit Voice?

Pawfit Voice is a unique Pawfit feature which allows you to record up to 6 personal voice commands which can be played out of the speaker on the tracker. You can use these commands as an additional training and recall tool.

Can I share Pawfit with my family?

Do I have to pay for the Pawfit app?

The Pawfit app is free to use and free to register an account on.

How do you use the Pawfit app?

To use the Pawfit app, you’ll need to download it to your smartphone and create a free Pawfit account. All you’ll need to register an account is your email address.

What network does Pawfit use?

Our Pawfit trackers are embedded with a universal sim card which is not tied to any one network. This allows the tracker to roam between network providers and connect to whichever signal is strongest in that area.

How does Pawfit work?

Our Pawfit GPS tracker works by connecting to 3 or more satellites to calculate your pet’s location.
Pawfit then uses the mobile network to send the GPS location updates to your phone and your pet’s location is clearly shown on the map in the app.

What is the difference between Pawfit 2 and Pawfit 3s?

There are several differences between Pawfit 2 and the new Pawfit 3s, with the biggest being the way they send and receive location updates. Pawfit 2 uses the 2g network and Pawfit 3s uses the newer LTE-M network, which is faster, more accurate and uses less battery power. What is the difference between Pawfit 2 and Pawfit 3?

The main difference between Pawfit 2 and Pawfit 3 is the way they send and receive location updates. Pawfit 2 uses the 2g network and Pawfit 3 uses a branch of the 4g network.

Do microchips have GPS?

No, pet microchips do not contain GPS trackers. A microchip is a radio-frequency identification transponder that carries a unique identification number and is roughly the size of a grain of rice. A handheld scanner is used to read the radio frequency of the chip and reads the owners contact information contained within.

Can I implant a GPS tracker in my dog or cat?

The short answer? No. GPS trackers are complicated devices that contain antennas, sim cards, and batteries that need recharging. Unfortunately, technology isn’t advanced enough yet to shrink a GPS tracker down small enough to be implanted into a dog or cat, but maybe one day! Until then, our Pawfit trackers are the perfect solution for tracking your pet.

How old does my dog need to be to wear a Pawfit tracker?

Your dog can start wearing their Pawfit tracker from any age, but most will start wearing it once they are able to go for their first walks. The built-in activity tracker is an easy way to ensure your young puppy is getting the right amount of exercise each day and not overdoing it and risking potential long-term damage to their joints.

What if I have more than one pet?

Do you have multiple pets in your home or own a dog walking business? With Pawfit, you can register up to 20 trackers within one Pawfit account, so no matter how many dogs are in your care, they can all be monitored, just as closely. Please note, each tracker requires it's own subscription plan.

When will my order arrive?

All UK orders containing a Pawfit tracker that are placed by 1pm on a weekday will be sent using Royal Mail 24hr delivery and a tracking number will be included with your dispatch confirmation email. Orders placed after this will be dispatched on the next working day.

All UK orders that don’t contain a Pawfit tracker will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48.
